The team travelled over 700 miles around Southern Uganda in just under
3 weeks. As the travelled they stayed in eight places; Jinja, Kakumiro,
Karaguuza (Kibale), Kyenjojo, Bugoye, Mbarara, Kibaale-Ssanje and
Kampala, although in Kampala they visited two separate projects.
Whilst a busier schedule than normal, the team were able to see all senior
pastors that work with the Trust, something which was vitally important as
the team had been unable to travel to Uganda for 3 years due to the
travel restrictions of the pandemic.
Being in Uganda in person allowed the team to have important
conversations with many of our Ugandan brothers and sisters, to
strengthen relationships with many of our contacts, and to see the
difficulties and successes of recent years first hand.
